The Rector, the Senate and the University Administrative Board are the governing bodies of the university. The Senate is the academic body; the University Administrative Board assists the Rector in administrative matters. Both boards meet under the chairmanship of the Rector.

The Vice Rectors, the Internal Audit Unit and the General Secretariat, which heads the central administrative organisation, report directly to the Rectorate. Units and coordination offices also operate within this scope.

Faculties, institutes, schools, vocational schools, departments and application and research centers operate under the Rectorate.

The administrative units, comprising the departments and the legal consultancy office, operate under the General Secretariat.

Boards and commissions established within the university according to their fields of duty operate under the Rectorate.
